Democracy in Islam, contrary to it? What attitude should we take?

Democracy is the process of electing leaders based on the most votes, so whoever his person, regardless of his character and morals, if he has the most votes, then he who will be the leader.

The weakness of this democratic system is that everyone has the same value, be it scholars, officials, ministers, teachers, or ordinary people, all his voices will be counted 1. So in a democracy, a knowledgeable and knowledgeable man is equalized, this is one of the weaknesses of the democratic system.

Democracy is not a system of Islam, but because by chance our country embraces a democratic system, whether Muslims are not allowed to follow it?

If the system can present the maslahat or the virtues of Islamic values, then we are better to follow it, make this democracy as a means to take over the leadership in order to further spread the Islamic Shari'a.

What happens if we do not choose?

May we if not choose? or better known as golput? Yes it is okay, it is your right, but the problem is when you do not choose, there are many liberals out there who vote, there are many unbelievers who vote, there are many LGBT people who choose to vote, so what happened is when you do not vote or the good people do not vote, then the leader will be chosen by LGBT, liberal and pagan people.

What will happen if bad people become leaders? It will create policies that are not good also, or even could make a policy that is not in accordance with Islamic Shari'a.

While in Islam we are obliged to obey the leader, what would it be if we obey a bad leader? So make democracy as a means to create benefit.

It's weird if you do not vote, then the bad leader is elected, but you are obliged to obey his leader.

Democracy is only a means

Even erdogan himself says that democracy is garbage, a weapon made by western infidels, a virus that is forcibly transmitted by westerners, but erdogan makes use of the system to take over the rights of Islam. And now look at turki under Erdogan's leadership, his economy is skyrocketing, Islamic values are reinforced, his government is no longer secular, and now Turkey is in its heyday.

For me personally democracy is indeed contrary to all syariat Islam, but that does not mean we leave it, because if we leave it then the tops of leadership will be filled by people outside Islam, because its use this system to take over leadership and also to restore the rights of Muslims.

Differences in Democracy and Islamic Law

The foundation of Islam is the Qur'an, while the foundation of democracy is a rule made by a person, if Islam speaks of truth, then democracy speaks of most.

So with democracy, if a country there are many prostitutes, then surely the elected president is a prostitute as well, if a country of his society secular secular, then surely his leader is also secular secular, because in the democracy of the elected certainly his voice is the most.

The laws of democracy can be bought and questioned, but the law in Islam must be firm and profitable.

In democracy everyone can run for a leader, while in Islam only qualified people are allowed to become leaders and are also selected by qualified people.

Democracy becomes a khilafiyah issue

Democracy is contrary to Islamic law, but using it to win the rights of Muslims becomes a khilafiyah problem, when a problem becomes khilafiyah, then the law becomes widespread. So be wise in understanding democracy, if at present the only way to take over leadership is only with democracy, then take advantage of the system.
